
Hillary Gould
I am a PhD Candidate in Information Science & Learning Technologies at the University of Missouri. My research interests include game-based learning, attitudes and perceptions about video games in the classroom, designing serious games, and cultivating stealth learning opportunities using existing digital games. I am primarily interested in designing and implementing serious games. For my dissertation, I intend to conduct a qualitative empirical study testing a serious game.

I received my Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering with an Emphasis in Logistics from the University of Arkansas in 2012. I am a former small business owner and engineering consultant. I also obtained my Master of Science in Learning Technologies & Design: Online Education and Graduate Certificate in College Teaching from the University of Missouri in 2021 as well as my Graduate Certificate in Serious Games & Simulation Design in 2022.
